About us

Welcome to Ames, IA... deep in the heart of Texas! 

We are THE group for all alumni and friends of Iowa State University living in the Dallas / Ft. Worth Metroplex area.  Currently, the number of alumni in this area is approximately 3,500 people with over 10,000 overall in the state of Texas. 

We are a passionate local fan-base that gathers to root for our school's athletic teams; provides functions to meet socially; keeps our members connected with the University and the Alumni Association in Ames; gives back through Cy's Days of Service and other fundraising activities; and provides avenues for young adults to connect to and attend Iowa State University after graduating high school.

We are committed to providing a respectful and honorable extension of Iowa State University and the Iowa State Alumni Association into this area of the country and are proud to be a part of #cyclONEnation.  If you live in DFW, or are just visiting, and you're an alumni or friend of the university, please stop by one of our game watches, reach out to our leaders, connect through our social media, and/or participate in any way you feel fit.  We are always looking for volunteers to help run our various activities and functions.  The behind-the-scenes efforts to continuously grow this group and provide solidarity and consistency requires a little bit of help from a lot of people. We'd love for you to be part of that effort.
