UH Gameday Tailgate!!

The DFW Cyclones are partnering with the Austin Cyclones as both clubs co-host a fun gameday for Iowa State fans celebrating the football team’s first game at the University of Houston on Saturday Sept 28th.

The DFW Cyclones have purchased a limited block of tickets for resale in the sideline bleachers (Section 124-125 - 126 - 132 - 133) so ISU fans can all sit and cheer together. Actual seat location will be announced when tickets are released by UH. Game start time is typically not announced by the conference until a week or so before gameday.

Several hours before kickoff both clubs will be co-hosting a BYOT (“Bring-Your-Own-Tailgate”) party at a start time and campus parking lot 4A. You will be updated at your email provided for this order. Once announced you can choose to park nearby at a charge paid to UH, but there will be no cost to also join us at the tailgate. Look for the DFW Cyclones tent to purchase swag and raffle tickets to help fund our Endowed Scholarship for North Texas High School Students attending ISU.

Meanwhile the Austin Cyclones will also be preparing and selling traditional Texas BBQ with brisket, chicken, pork and a side as well as bottled water to be served. Due to UH campus and Texas permit policies there will be no alcoholic beverages included or sold at this tailgate. You are allowed and encouraged to bring your own beverages of choice. Please order your BBQ plate in advance (before the price goes up) to help our Austin volunteers plan and purchase adequate food. All BBQ proceeds will go to Austin club’s charitable causes.

Tailgate & Combo pricing WILL increase as game day approaches.

Parking is NOT included in ANY pricing.

All sales are final. This is also a “rain or shine” event regardless of weather or your travel situation. Only if the game is cancelled due to Houston city ordinance will refunds be issued.

IMPORTANT: A link to download your digital game ticket will be delivered to the email address you list in your ticket order (check for typos) and will arrive from Houston Athletics as a transfer from the DFW Cyclones ticket account prior to the game. By UH policy you must show your ticket at the gate as instructed using a mobile device. Please respond and accept ticket transfers promptly as they have a short deadline before they expire. Don't be the 2% that we have to contact manually each event for this.

Expect correspondence from the DFW and Austin clubs as gameday approaches with both tailgate and further game weekend details.
